"Make each day your masterpiece."

I'm glad you have stopped by!  I am thrilled to be part of the excellent staff of Central Middle School. Central School has a special place in my heart. As a child, I attended Central School, which is where I decided that I knew I wanted to become a teacher when I grew up. I have had the privilege of working with the children of Long Hill Township for ten years. My career spans completing field work, student teaching, substitute teaching, and most recently, working as a teacher assistant in the district.  My educational experience includes a BA and MA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

This year, I will be teaching reading, ICS Social Studies, ICS Language Arts, and Study Skills. My goal as an educator is to help students achieve their goals.  Students will be given opportunities to express and exchange their unique interests, experiences, and talents through the various literary genres and themes we will explore throughout the year.   We will practice reading comprehension skills, acquire new vocabulary, and explore an array of informative fiction and nonfiction grade level texts.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR CHILDREN WITH ME!  I hope your child is ready to work hard and have fun learning this year.
***Please note that I teach all morning and often do not have an opportunity to check/reply to e-mail messages until the afternoon.
