Spinello, Mrs. M.

Mrs. Michele Spinello, Millington School
Brief Bio:
My name is Michele Spinello and I am a teacher at Millington School. I have received a dual bachelor's degree from Kean University in Elementary Education and English.  My career began at Millington School where I taught third grade.  In addition, I have taught Basic Skills and second grade.  The Basic Skills position enabled me to work with many different students and teachers, in many different grades. I also had the pleasure of being an active member of the I&RS committee.  I am honored to be a teacher for the Long Hill Township school district and I thank all of you parents for giving me the opportunity to work with your extraordinary children. They have made me the teacher that I am today!

To reach me:

Please feel free to email me at

It is my job to make your child's learning experience a positive one that allows them to continue to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Together, we will give your child the tools that they will need to be successful both in school and at home. I will work closely with each of you to ensure that we are giving the children the strongest support system that they need to be successful. It is important for them to continue their love of learning for years to come. Each child will enter my room with a smile and leave with an even larger one. :)

Leveled Literacy Intervention System (LLI):

Is an intensive, small-group, supplementary intervention designed for children who find reading and writing challenging. LLI is a program that is intended to bring children quickly up to grade-level competency—in 14 to 18 weeks on average.  In a small group setting, students are able to build their confidence and reading skills that they can later utilize within a large group setting.

We are a tree nut and a peanut free classroom and it is most important to keep all of our friends safe:)
