Mrs. Tracy Pierce

I am so excited to join the 1st Grade team at Gillette School! Before working at Gillette School as a paraprofessional last year, I was home spending time with my two boys. Prior to that, I taught Pre-Kindergarten and worked as a first grade teaching assistant.

In my classroom, we spend a lot of time learning how to work together as a team. Community building is such an essential part of a child's education, and it quickly becomes a strong foundation for learning. I am thrilled to find a home here at Gillette School and am looking forward to a wonderful school year!

School Specials:

Monday: Library and PE (please wear sneakers)
Tuesday: PE (please wear sneakers)
Wednesday: PE (please wear sneakers)

Homework will be assigned Monday-Thursday and is due back the next day. The purpose of homework is to reinforce a skill that has been taught in class. Students will typically be assigned one math and one spelling worksheet, but may have a few small at home projects throughout the year. Students will also have to read for at least 10 minutes 5 days a week and will have to log it on their weekly DIRT sheets.
