Week of Respect

What is the Week of Respect and Why is it Important?
School districts statewide recognize the importance of continually fostering a positive school climate. The fundamental work being done to reduce incidences of violence and harassment, intimidation and bullying (HIB) within the schools is paramount and aids in providing students a safe environment in which they are able to attain academic success and grow as individuals.

Week of Respect - School Wide Activity
During the Week of Respect, Millington School held a school-wide Respect Project called, “How Do You Show Respect.” All Millington students created a message of respect by artistically designing and drawing on a cut-out heart, which was then placed inside a larger heart displayed on one of Millington's hallways. The school is so proud of the students’ contributions!
